Reported by the Global Marketing Center-To gain in-depth insights into the cutting-edge demands of the global wind power market and consolidate and expand its share in the high-end market, a delegation led by Wang Yaoshen, Deputy General Manager of the Group, recently conducted a two-week in-depth visit and exchange with several world-leading wind turbine manufacturers and wind power equipment producers in Europe, including Nordex, Ørsted, and Salzgitter Mannesmann. This trip to Europe was not only a rendezvous with "old friends" to strengthen trust but also a strategic dialogue to jointly map out a future blueprint, laying a solid foundation for the Group's global layout in top-tier fields of wind power steel, such as ultra-wide and ultra-thick specifications.
As the cradle and application hub of global wind power technology, Europe has always set the highest industry standards for wind power steel, a critical basic material. The customers visited this time are all industry giants specializing in offshore wind power and the manufacturing of large-megawatt units. During the talks, both parties focused on next-generation wind power steel solutions featuring ultra-high strength, ultra-thick specifications, excellent low-temperature toughness, and corrosion resistance—particularly steel for cylindrical bodies of 15MW and above giant wind towers and steel for offshore wind power foundation structures. Liao Heng, Director of the Global Marketing Center, presented in detail the Group's latest breakthroughs in TMCP (Thermo-Mechanical Control Process) technology, high-precision rolling, and full-process quality control. Through detailed data and third-party certification reports, it was demonstrated that our products have met or exceeded international top standards in terms of impact toughness, Z-direction anti-tearing performance, and welding adaptability, enabling them to readily cope with the harsh challenges of harsh marine environments such as the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.
This visit and exchange in Europe went beyond mere product transactions. By deeply collaborating with customers, we achieved a role upgrade from "supplier" to "value partner." Customers highly praised Jingye Group's capabilities in customized services, rapid response, and full-life-cycle support. In-depth discussions were held with customers on the "dual carbon" goals, green steel, and the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). Customers expressed strong interest in Jingye Group's commitment to providing green steel with a lower full-life-cycle carbon footprint and looked forward to leading cooperation in this field.
The European visit and exchange yielded fruitful results. Our company signed a new round of strategic cooperation memorandums of understanding with major intended customers, aiming to expand cooperation in the R&D, standard-setting, and demonstration application of ultra-high-strength wind power steel. Meanwhile, preliminary supply intentions were reached for multiple upcoming major offshore wind power projects.
Summarizing the trip, Wang Yaoshen, Deputy General Manager of the Group, stated: "During this trip to Europe, we deeply felt customers' urgent demand for high-quality, high-reliability materials and their high trust in the Jingye Group brand. This is not only recognition of our past achievements but also a spur to our future development. We will always adhere to a customer-centric approach and take innovation as the engine. We aim not only to be a material supplier but also the most trustworthy value partner for customers to navigate challenges and realize their green dreams."
With winds rising in Europe and tides surging globally, this successful customer visit and exchange once again confirms Jingye Group's leading position and competitiveness in the global high-end special steel sector. In the future, the company will continue to focus on high-end, intelligent, and green development, work alongside world-leading customers, and drive the world steadily toward a sustainable energy future with more outstanding steel strength.
